Hearts Solo App Reviews

So the upgrade cripples a formerly perfectly functional game, and thats by design! I now wouldnt buy the "full" version from this developer if it was the last game available. Very poor business tactic. Itll come back to bite you in the posterior, mark my words. Now seeing his response to another member, calling people cheapskates and saying he doesnt care what we think, I doubt well be seeing much more product from Allen Brunson. Theres lots of competition in this market space and I strongly suggest that anyone interested in a Hearts game patronize one of his competitors. There are too many Hearts games out there without having to support someone with this guys attitude. A message to Allen: "Are you under the impression that we care what jerks like you sell? If youre not willing to be civil to your customers, then you are not who were buying from. Go away." By the way, I just *bought* (yes, *bought*, as in spent money on) another Hearts app from one of Mr. Brunsons competitors. Had he been straight up with his customers and stowed the tude, I probably would have bought from him. Were not all cheapskates, pal... we just expect to be treated with a little respect, rather than like dog excrement bring wiped from your shoe. So now youre the dog excrement being wiped from my shoe. I was thinking a far stronger term than "jerk", but it would probably be marked inappropriate.

Apple should remove this company from developing apps unless they can prove to be an honest company. I will never buy another app from this developer! Hope they bancrupt themselves for pulling this scam on people.

I agree with everyone, bad move to take back what you already gave!! Should have just put a new game up, left all those who already had it alone!!!

Do not download this "free" app because you wont be able to complete your first game without being told you have to purchase the full version. As soon as I updated I started getting that message. Awful awful awful.

Tactics to get you to buy the full version is cheap and downright sneaky. Shame on you!

This used to be one of my favorite apps. Then it got updated and now it wont even let you play a full game. What a shameless underhanded move. This app should be taken off the app store because it doesnt function as advertised. Personally I think the developer should be blacklisted for trying this. Absolutely disgraceful.

What a waste. I got halfway through the second hand and the app closed and told me I had to buy the app to keep playing. I wouldnt give my business to people who treat customers like that.

If you had heart solo before the jerk developer made it into an ad, simply delete it and hook back up to iTunes and reinstall the old version. And then just get used to having a badge on your app store all the time.

I would have given no stars if the option were available. The update took an enjoyable game and made it risible with a difficult background and the igmony of demanding one buy the game in mid play.

Horrible now. Do NOT waste your time.

Not a free Hearts game. It lets you play four hands and then tells you to upgrade to keep playing.

Used to be a great game, now the "updated" version wont even get you through a game without closing and asking to buy full version. Dont waste your time!!

Not good at all. The background is awful. After a few hands it forces you to upgrade or buy another version. You cant play solo. The creator once had a great solo hearts game but I think its been removed

Do I have to even rate this 1 star? Like many others, I had the "real" Hearts Solo for a long time and when an update was available, I updated. Now I have some piece of crap that only allows you to play one hand and then kicks you out to the app store and tells you to continue play you must upgrade to Hearts Net for $2.99.

You only get to play a few tricks before the "demonstration" ends. But its enough to see that it was written by a beginner. UI is fugly. How did this even get on iTunes?!
